March 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Late lyricist Gireesh Puthenchery will soon have a documentary made on him. The documentary has been titled Aakasha Deepangal Sakshi and Unnikrishnan Marar will be directing it. Marar was Hariharan and Jayaraj’s former assistant.
A one hour long documentary, it will feature the lyricist’s colleagues reminiscing about him. It will also feature some family details. It will be produced by Azeez Kadalundi under the banner of Best Productions. Kaithaparam will be penning the documentary’s presentation song and Dr. C V Renjith will be scoring the music. The team is still researching on Gireesh Puthenchery and need more materials from the lyricist’s friends and colleagues.
