When your birthday comes, you make a wish. This wish may often not come true. However if you have a husband as loving as TV actress Karishma Randhawa’s, K. K. Mookhey, your wish will surely be fulfilled provided it is in human capacity to do so. You have seen this pretty actress in soaps like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Maahi Ve and Geet Hui Saabse and Geet….Hui Saabse Parayi. She had wished for a house on her birthday and indeed he has gifted it to her on her birthday today (23 May 2013).

When we called her she excitedly said, “I just cut my birthday cake with my nephew in my brand new house. I will cut a cake in my husband’s office too.” She is now working with her husband, his company’s name is Institute of Information Security.

The pretty actress’s parents have given her their credit card to shop till she drops. She told us chirpily, “My parents thought that instead of guessing what I want, it would be better if I bought what I feel like with their credit card. I will shop at Infinity Mall (Mumbai) throughout the day today.”
What does she feel on getting a year older? She says with great optimism, “Since the last five years I haven’t been growing older but younger.”

Actor Sameer Kochhar who is currently hosting the IPL, was touched by the fact that he was wished ‘happy birthday’ live on Sony TV. Luckily, he is enjoying a holiday today. “I have received many phone calls from family and friends. I am celebrating my birthday with my friends in the evening. My wife has planned a surprise too but I really don’t know what that is.”

He excitedly told us, "I brought in my birthday yesterday with my friends and the Khoobsurat team, "I like celebrating my birthday in a grand way every year." How did he celebrate it last year? "I invited the entire Chhal team on my birthday and we had a blast." TV actors spend most of the day on the sets; the cast and crew usually make every possible effort to make their birthday special.

Ashita Dhawan, who you have seen in shows like Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo and Adallat also celebrates her birthday today. We were unable to reach her though.
