Delhi, Ahmedabad, Indore and Mumbai. But today the Delhi auditions have been cancelled because the police refused to grant permission.Apparently, 10 to 15 thousand people had turned up for the auditions yesterday. The organisers tried their best to manage the crowd, but finally the police had to intervene and resort to lathi charge to control them, after which the auditions happened successfully.
But the police seem to be in no mood to help the organisers today and they have refused to give them permission for the auditions. The auditions have been called off today but it will happen sometime later this week for sure. A source informs, "Yes the Indian Idol 5 auditions of Delhi have been cancelled today because the police have not given the required permissions for it. It will happen on some other day now. The auditions are on in Mumbai, Indore and Ahmedabad."
Namit Sharma, Business Head, Wizcraft confirmed the news while Ajit Thakur Business Head Sony TV remained unavailable for comments.

hello Anu ji n d indian idol comittee..
I hav cum a long way 4m sikkim,gangtok...and i cudnt giv ma audition in delhi,as becz of some issues d audition got cancelled,ma parents r asking me 2 come back bt u can understand hw can i go back s our state is so small n every 1 has an expextation 4m me,i dont care if i dont get thru once i gv ma audition it depends upon urs decission bt atleast giv us a chance atleast 2 perform n we dont knw wether d teams r looking after our mails or nt...n as other ppl evn m left wid less cash,sir wat i want is plz organise d audition once d team is over wid d rest cities as i can understand its vry difficult to arrange,bt atleast plz let us knw thru msgs tht YES DER WUD B AUDITION IN DELHI...pls hop u understand,thank u sir ....
